I currently teach a ballroom class of 3 thirteen year old girls. I need to choreograph a recital dance for them by May. I am stuck as how to choreograph a ballroom dance with only 3 girls. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could give me ideas of what type of dance i should do, how i should work with partnering etc. Also maybe if you have a youtube video i could use for some inspiration i would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you,
Nikki

Stick to the Cha Cha. The Basic steps are in the main just a turnaround of the boys steps. Just quickly. The Forward Basic for the man on his LF is for the lady Forward on her LF as the man does the Back Basic which comes sfter after the first bar of music.Good Luck. Keep it simple.

You need to give us more background.. are they absolute beginners ?.. are they dancing Rhythm or Smooth ?..

If rhythm, I may try Samba ( open work shows very well ) and, at that age they may relate to that rhythm.

Cha is also an option...
