To the Editor,
I am an avid follower of your Forum. It is without a doubt, the best discussion vehicle for dancers on the net. However one factor that creates confusion is not knowing from which country, are the contributors. A classic example is the thread started by terence2--WORKSHOP-.
There is a Southport in the UK and one in Australia. You have many readers from both countries, so confusion can exist. Here's the solution to a number of the problems this can create. Have contributors state their country as well as their name. This is not going to comprimise their anonymity. It would however
clarify some of the differences that exist in various countries.

I have to agree it can be confusing.
I'm not sure that everyone appreciates how widely forums such as this are read.
There is a tendency to assume that because it is hosted in the US that it's readers are also all in the US. I am in the UK.

Even worse though is the rec.arts.dance newsgroup that has posts such as "Anyone going to the Salsa workshop at Gerry's tomorrow?". Really useful!

PS.. as to best discussion, I think you will find that Dance Forums ( also US based ) is probably the largest " posted " site on the net with literally world class dancers posting on occasion, and will give any site a " run " for its money..

Most sites are informative if you ask the correct Q.
