Starting this week, we will be upgrading all of the video clips on this website to the "H.264" format, with vastly improved video quality and only moderately larger file sizes.

The H.264 format is compatible with many players, including Flash, Quicktime, and Windows Media. This will give us the ability to allow you to choose the best player to suit your needs without the need for us to host multiple copies of the same file in different formats. This will free up tons of space for more new video clips!

H.264 is also compatible with the iPhone and many other newer models of smartphone. So the move to this format paves the way for a smartphone version of Ballroomdancers.com. Stay tuned!

Let us know if you notice a difference in the quality of the video clips as we begin to upgrade them this week. The first dance to be upgraded will be the American Style Cha Cha.
