In cha cha, how do you transition from four basics (going forward first) into 3 forward lock steps? The first lock step should start on the right foot.

Benwf83. Back Basic 2 3... Lock on RF 4 and 1.gpoing forward.
Lock on LF 2 and 3. Lock on RF 4 and 1. You are now ready for a normal front basic.
In the technique book it is called Three Cha Cha Chas. ISTD page 128.
1983 Edition.
Can be repeated going backwards for practise as many times as you wish.
Receiving instruction on this it is essential to learn the correct footwork. The correct name for the Lock is a Latin Cross. Toe to Heel.
