I find it strange that they are on opposite sides of the syllabus, and from what i understand, they aren't so ridiculously different. maybe im missing something

ive seen american cha cha version shown with the travelling...but is that basically the difference, that its gold because you progress together backwards and forward. i think it looks pretty much similar otherwise.

Its essentially the same.. sometimes the feet are brought together during the travel, sometimes passing ( style points )
