The next Ballroomdancers.com film shoot takes place next week, 6/22 through 6/26. This is your final chance to get in those last-minute requests and suggestions!

Over the course of the next week, we will be filming more videos for the website, with specific focus on (1) narrated demo clips of silver level patterns, plus possibly gold Int'l syllabus, (2) teaching of bronze level patterns, probably through intermediate bronze, and (3) a small handful of technique lessons such as posture, dance position, Latin motion, etc.

In addition to the 10 international dances and the 9 American style dances, we will also film the following nightclub & social dances: WC Swing, Hustle, Lindy Hop and Salsa.

We're looking forward to an exciting week!

Regards,
Jonathan Atkinson

my only desire is that the silver clips go up first, american preferably, no one knows what those moves are, especially since there's so many different names for everything in american

I offer two suggestions:

1. The more technique lessons, the better. Steps (foot positions) are not that hard to learn, and your Bronze #5 may not be the same as the Fred Astaire Bronze #5 in the same dance (and Fred's #5 is not the same as USISTD, etc.).

2. Peabody is a dance that is overlooked these days. Our instructor gave us a set of Peabody lessons, and we found that a) it's not so hard and b) it's also a lot of fun.
