At Cirque du Soleil, we are currently seeking an elderly couple of dancers or an elderly couple presenting a variety or circus act for our production ZUMANITY. This search is urgent and it is our number one priority. This is why I am putting this announcement in this chatroom today.

Requirements:
Role: We are seeking an elderly couple of experienced dancers, specializing in international dance, ballroom dance, acrobatic rock-and-roll or any other dynamic sort of dance, or an elderly couple who perform a variety or circus act.
Age: 60 years or over.
Excellent physical condition.
Solid stage experience.
Location: Las Vegas, at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino
Length of contract: to be determined
Auditions: On an invitation basis only
Deadline for submission: October 15, 2003

ZUMANITY is both a thrilling exploration of the mysterious forces from which desire emerges and an ode to human diversity. In the intimate setting of a unique theatre, artists of singular beauty bewitch the audience with an original show that brings together fashion, theatre, music, dance and circus arts, as they openly reveal their personalities and celebrate their sensuality throughout the show.

We invite you to send your complete file, including specifically:
a resumé (including weight, height, date of birth, complete contact information, years and locations of training, and years and locations of professional experience);
your availability for 2003 and 2004;
one or more photos.
a video showing several acts during shows or in rehearsal. Please send clear images where we can identify you easily. A short presentation to the camera by each partner would be appreciated (name, artistic or athletic background, and motivation).
