I'm working on a Peabody routine for a showcase--very basic, but fun

Does anyone have favorite songs for Peabody?
(I did do a web search, but no songs listed)

In the latest newsletter from dancesportcomps.com, it is mentioned that there is talk to add the peabody or an open version of international quickstep as a fifth dance to the american smooth. If this does happen, i am sure you will see a lot more peabody music being available..... maybe you are all ahead of us dancing the peabody.

We've found a few good songs from a Quickstep CD-- picked "Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Baby". They're a little slower and seem to work well.

I would look forward to more smooth categories to dance at competitions

I've got my flapper outfit and we ran thru the routine for a small crowd tonite--went over very well--even if we had to explain that the Peabody is (or was) a "fad" dance.
