Can anyone suggest good instructional videos for Intermediate-level international standard?
I mean the sort of videos that will discuss the technicalities of body alignments, correct swing, solving posture (and other) problems, getting that tango 'feel' and so on.
NOT videos that simply show suitable choreographed sequences of steps perfectly executed by a former world champion (i already have videos like that).
We do have a teacher and we have a class every 10 days or so, but i'd still like this sort of video to refer to

Phil. I can recommend John Wood and Anne Lewis modern Waltz and Foxtrot tape.Plenty of technical advice. Position of bodies in the set up. CBM and so on. Also the splitting of the three beats in Waltz into six. 1 and 2 and 3 and. The step to the side is on the beat of 2. The draw up on a , and, leaving the whole of 3 to rise and lower and prepare for 1. Richard Gleaves tape also goes into this, but does get into variations. He as a competitor and demonstrator counted the first ten or so beats as above softly. In practise both male and partner counted out load. This he recommends. Its on the tapes guys !!!.

My first choice of video would have to be The Big Lebowski. It is quite enlightening
