Video Clips

As a new dancer something that I see already that would be a great help is if the video clips can be made to loop so they will run over and over. One quick run and then having to rerun each time takes concentration away. With a loop one can look at the man's feet one time, woman's feet the next, hand movements, etc. over and over without pause or loss of concentratio and therefore learn. Most videos don't last but a second or two but it takes longer than that to rerun which changes the area of the mind used back and forth from play to look and see. I have quicktime alone and it loops easily. For some reason I can't open the video with my quicktime but it uses another form of quicktime. Another solution can be to post the web address for the video and let quicktime go there and get it.

Of course I could go try to find where the video is saved in the general files from internet activity but those have random names and could take hours to locate.

Otherwise the site is fabulous and a huge help. Thanks you guys! :o)

Hi JL
If you're using Windows 2000, finding the video clip is straightforward. It's stored as "variation.mov" in your "temporary Internet" folder.
Copy it to a dancing folder, then rename it appropriately. Then bingo - run it with quicktime over and over off-line.
I agree with you about looping. What i like to do is run it very slowly by dragging with the cursor. This doesn't always work. What's needed is a slow-motion facility in Quicktime.
