International Style:
  • Waltz
  • Tango
  • Viennese Waltz
  • Slow Foxtrot
  • Quickstep

In American Style:

  • Waltz
  • Tango
  • Foxtrot
  • Viennese Waltz
  • Peabody*

* Peabody is considered one of the American Style ballroom dances, but you won't see it very often at a competition or social event. It's really mostly a novelty.

Strictly speaking, in dancesport terminology, Cha Cha is a Latin dance or a Rhythm dance, not a Ballroom dance. Yes, this is confusing, because it is danced in a ballroom, but I'm just describing the competitive nomenclature here.
