Dance Variations on CD-ROM

Can anyone tell me what year the CD-ROM on Dance Variations is for? I currently have a CD-ROM for Previous Variations 2001, but when I clicked for more information on the CD-ROM for sale under the Shopping part of this website, I couldn't see how to find out whether or not this is the same as the CD I currently have. Also, is there any way to find out what variations are covered? Thanks for any information.

It's the same CD, but it's about to be discontinued and replaced with the "newer model". We're actually filming them today and tomorrow, and hope to have them available by the end of April. Instead of a single CD-ROM, there will be two compilations -- one for smooth and one for rhythm -- which will be made available on VHS and DVD.

Jonathan

Since the 2001 group, only about 4-5 variations have been produced (until now). Most of them have been reproduced either identically or similarly for the new DVD. I apologize if one has slipped through the cracks, but I think I got almost all of them.

As for the 2001 variations, we have other plans. After editing the current VHS/DVD, my next project is to create a pay-based membership. It will probably cost around $25 to $30 per year, and will entitle you to certain extra features. One of those will be full online access to the old set of variations from 2001. Another will probably be access to the last 3 weeks of current variations, since people often want ask me if I can send them last week's variation. A third will be additional basic movements. For example, I might keep the first 5 steps in each dance free, and then offer the remainder of Bronze figures (6-10, 6-15 or whatever) only to paying members, and call it a "Bronze" membership. I'm still playing with the idea, so if you have any suggestions, I'm open.
