Paso Doble, Quickstep, Intl & American Style

I have recently begun ballroom dancing and am thoroughly enjoying it. However, there are a few dances which I have not learned, and I'd like to learn a little bit about them so that I can recognize them when I see them.

Mainly the Paso Doble. What is the basic step, timing, and how does it relate to other dances? (E.G. - Rumba, Cha Cha, Salsa are all Latin dances and certain moves can be translated over)

Also, the Quickstep. What is the basic step?

Lastly, what makes international styles of dances international? How are they different from American-style? (For instance, Waltz - Int'l and American?)

Thank you so much for your time.
