Cna someone answer this question ASAP

How many measures and counts are in the ENTIRE WALTZ PATTERN?

It is not only 4 measures and 12 counts!

Thanks!

There is no universal 'entire waltz pattern'

You may have been taught a group of steps 4 measures or 12 beats long that repeats nicely. But there are others, both shorter and longer.

With my stylistic biases, I can't actually think of anything of that length (I get two measures for a stationary waltz, and 5 or 6 for a travelling one) but there are many different types of waltz steps, and I'm sure there is some perfectly valid combination that is 4 measures long.

And of course there are so many possibilities that some couples have their own private routines 45-60 measures long, with no repetition.
