When the dancing involves simple figures,I feel confident and in control. When the figures become complex,I get a "thinking face" and appear to turn inward, loose my expression and forget to look out at the audience.Any advice will be appreciated.Natasha

Practice. Experience. The more you perform, the better at it you will get. Also, when you are having lessons and practicing remember to practice smiling and looking up. Try to connect with people hanging out around the studio.
