Just a reminder, This Week's Variation is still lacking the Lady's part descriptive text.

Sorry about that. We've been out of town since last Thursday. I was hoping to finish it before we left, but ran out of time. Since I'll be changing to a new variation when I return on Tuesday eve, I'll have to post a link to the lady's part here on the message board for those who are interested. Check back Wednesday morning for details.

I thought there was to be a link posted. Perhaps I missed it?

Also- I seem to be posting an anonymous; how do I post in my own name?

Jerry,

The link will appear with the new Viennese variation. If you're reading this on Tuesday, check back tomorrow. If Wednesday or later, it should already be up, so scroll down and look for a link in this thread.

As for anonymous posting, it's a bug I'll have to fix when I find a little more time. If you've been posting as a registered user, I should be able to go back and fill in the names retroactively.

UPDATE -- Bolero Lady's Part
Posted by Administrator

The lady's part for the Bolero variation has at long last been posted to the website! However, it's almost time for the next variation, Viennese Waltz, to replace it. The Viennese variation is near completion, and will replace the Bolero on Tuesday evening.

Since this doesn't give people much time to see the complete Bolero with lady's part, I will leave it up for about a week in a temporary location, and post a link to that location here and on the variation page. Check back here again soon for details.

Thanks. I'm sorry to be a pest. If it's of any interest, I combined the leader and follower tables into one Word document with the steps side by side in landscape format; if you'd like, I can send it to you

Could you please explain which Word Program you used and how you were able to group the man's and lady's parts side by side. I don't find anything called landscape on my word programs.
Thanks, Lee

I used MS Word.

1. Selected the man's part and pasted it into a new document. It pasted as a TABLE.

2. Selectedd the woman's part (rightmost two columns only) early today when it became available and in Word, clicked the Add Columns, added two columns, positioned the cursor at the top of the new column and pasted.

3. In Word, clicked File, Page Setup, Paper Size. There is a radio button that changes the orientation from Portrait to Landscape.

4. From there on, it was a matter of fiddling with the margins and the column widths to get everything to fit right.

The new Viennese Waltz variation has replaced the Bolero, but you can still get the lady's part for the Bolero variation here:
