The Filipino Veterans Foundation has a fund-raising gala event for the aging Filipino WWII Veterans who are now a fast disappearing breed.
The highlight of this gala will be an exhibition medley of ballroom dancing by recently retired champions. If one such couple would agree to a gratis performance or a modest honorarium, the Foundation can issue the full value of their fees for their tax-deduction.
The date is July 26, 2003. The venue is most likely LAX Hilton, we are still negotiating with two or three other hotels in the LAX corridor. Please reply ASAP as we are starting our press releases.
