Hi,
I've been searching all over the internet for some guidance as to what would be the best dance step for the song my fiance and I have chosen for our first dance. The song is "The Best is Yet to Come" and the version we like is the one by Frank Sinatra. We have taken dance lessons in the past and have the basics down. However, neither of us are any good at figuring out which step we should be doing when we hear a song.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Stu

A Foxtrot would work for Sinatra's "The Best Is Yet To Come".

Definitely a foxtrot. Start with a good basic (slow, slow, quick, quick) that will get you around the dance floor easily, and doesn't require any thought. Use a trouble step in the corners. Add a promenade, and promenade with ladies turn.

Maybe take a few lessons in a studio and learn a zig-zag and/or grapevine, and everyone there will think you're an expert.
