Hello, My name is Bonnie Young. I live in Stockbridge, which is a hidden city underneath Atlanta. I have been looking for a good place to dance and I can't seem to find any. I am 17 yrs old and trying to start ballroom dancing. I have resulted to reading the web pages that spell things out but don't actually show you. I am so confused with all of it. Any advice and I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks a million.

look up eddie Ares in atlanta. he is a great tacher. i have taken lessons from him. i am actually driving to atlanta in a month to see him.
also david hamilton is at the same studio. do a search on the internet to find the studio. eddie also runs the hotlanta dance challenge. yo could look that up and it will take you to a bunch of stuff about eddie. let me know what you do, if you go to eddie or someone else in that studio. i would be excited to know what you end up doing.

Hey Krystyna,

Thank you for the advice. Eddie looks wonderful. I know that I don't have to money foe his high rates. I know that high rates means that you get a better class, but I live with my boyfriend and we are on a tight budget. I hope that you understand. But when I get experienced enough I know that I will join the challenge. It looks fun. Thanks though. If you have any other advice I would gladly appreciate it.

If you're on a budget, group classes are the way to go. You will learn a lot without spending as much money as you would on privates. Good luck and have fun!

Also a good place to look to learn are local colleges and universities. Some schools have clubs or teams, and may teach beginner classes at very affordable rates, or even for free. Of course the instruction in these lessons are usually from other college students, but if you are interested in exploring it's a good low budget way to get your foot in the door.
