I'd have to say that the Caribbean in general (particularly Cuba)--birthplace of all the wonderful music that goes with Rumba, Mambo, Salsa, Bolero, Cha Cha, and Merengue is the source of some of the greatest dance music ever. I am also very partial to the beauty of the Samba and Bossa Nova music from Brazil.
But don't count the United States out! After all this is the country that gave the world the music that goes with Foxtrot and Swing, as well as Country-Western for those 2-Steppers out there...
OK, I have not taken a stand on one or the other. I guess I just love to do a wide variety of styles of dance and listen to an eclectic range of music.
