where to go?

I really enjoy dancing, but have never had formal "lessons. I have been separated for almost a year now and just want to go out someplace to do so ballroom dancing. I'm just trying to find someplace to go and enjoy dancing. Is there any place around the Troy-Albany area where I can go and still be able to find other "singles" who love to just dance and have a good time? It's been so long since I've been on the dating scene; I would prefer to take it slowly and see how the dancing goes. Any advice for a youthful, fun-loving 50-year old?? Thank you, in advance, for the help!

Great answer OB, I am in a small town in northern Georgia and divorced knowing very few people. I have a true passion for dancing and miss the social settings and freindships.

Am a shagger from the Carolinas, cha cha, swing, with strong desire to Waltz and revive memories of days of the hustle.

can you help me, you did a great job with imissdancing!
thanks, 45/f/GA

OK, the links didn't work so let's try this(Sorry, we Canucks aren't overly up on US geography but I think Augusta is further north than Atlanta so I listed it first):
